Got mine at Target today. No waiting. They had 10 16's and 5 64's, all black. A Target 10 minutes away had 5 16's - all white.

I've lost a bit. :( actually quite a lot. I bought at around 170ish a while ago in prepare for the surge of macworld like last year but am at a bit of a loss right now. I think my avatar shows my recent mood.
I wouldn't worry. Just sit back and wait a bit. It'll be back. I have some I bought at 26 (pre-split) and some I bought around iDay (146). Not too worried, but I'm in for long haul anyway.

SUPERVISE YOUR CHILDREN, IT'S NOT THE GOVERNMENT NOR APPLE'S RESPONSIBILITY TO BE THEIR PARENT, IT'S YOURS.
We should get rid of the stupid Parental Controls in OS X. I've already been locked out once, and it may happen again. For some reason, Safari suddenly decided that several of the Websites that I'd been using were inappropriate for me to view. These included at least one federal government Website.
The Parental Controls weren't even activated, at least not that I could tell. The only thing that was running was a keyword filter for Safari, which I didn't intentionally activate. Parental Controls have no place in an operating system that is being used for real work. It's one more thing that can go wrong, and it's a waste of disk space.
Parents should learn to supervise their children while a child is using the computer, and if they don't care to supervise or aren't educated enough to understand how that computer works, they shouldn't own a computer. I am so tired of hearing these news stories about how the parents "didn't know" that their child was doing something illegal or was being bullied for months. How can you not know what's going on in your own home, on the computer that you bought?
A computer was not meant to be a toy that could be used by anybody above a 2nd-grade reading level. These same whiny parents then turn around and blame the social networking companies, blogs (used as another name for "chat rooms"), cell phone companies, schoolteachers, and anybody else that could be connected to their children through technology, but they never seem to want to blame themselves for being bad parents who like to forget that their children exist. Considering the number of downright-dumb parents that I've run into, I'm surprised that the society does as well as it does. These people are frankly too stupid to live, and they're the reason why most everything these days comes with disclaimers, warning labels, or nanny features that try to prevent you from hurting yourself and others.
There's even this latest thing that demands restaurants start putting on their menus how many Calories are in each of their foods, because the dumb people don't understand that eating fried foods and sitting on their butts all day can eventually make you fat. I've been deliberately ordering foods with the warning labels just for fun. Oh, this has 2,100 Calories? Is that bad? The nannies want you to say yes, you say? Good, I'll take that and a large soda, and how about a couple of sides too! Uno Chicago Grill was one of the restaurants labeled for having too many Calories, yet after 10 years of eating what the nannies say are dangerous foods, I'm still not fat. Stay out of my favorite foods!
People should be forced to take responsibility for their own lives much more often, and this nonsense of allowing frivolous lawsuits should end.

Well, I don't know about the name considering iHome are a successful company that make a range of iPod-enabled clock radios but it certainly sounds like a good product.

Apple has great products, but we are going to be experiencing more than a recession. Donald Trump stated that what was going to happen in North America is going to make Russia look like a picnic during world war 2. The CEO of Wall-Street stated two years ago that there will be a world economic crash worse than what happened during the 1930's due to the amount of debt. The European Union Banks stated 1.5 years ago that they were preparing their banks for a world economic collapse. Unfortunately most of us are living the status quo and do not want to acknowledge that our way of life is going to drastically change. Unfortunately even a company as great as Apple will not be able to retain the level of what the stocks are worth even at todays low. My advice is pay of your debts... sell your stocks while you still have money, sell your home and then when the collapse occurs then invest.

I have very limited time for pictures this week. I'm taking what easy ones I can and going with it. This is my son on his "new to him" bike. It was found abandoned in Florida by my parents a few years ago. My son is finally big enough for it, and my dad cleaned it up for him last week.

After my Panasonic 32" HDTV bit the dust after only 13 months (1 year warranty, of course!), I got this 42" Vizio 1080P 120 MHZ to replace it. Panasonic, I hate you!
Also got a PS3 Slim recently when my old fatty died. It's in the upper left adjacent to the 360, but you can't really see in photo because I am no photographer. :o
Due to my bad luck with electronics of late, I went against my previous convictions, and got extended warranties this time. :rolleyes:
For those considering this TV model, I'm extremely satisfied with the picture quality.

IMO it doesn't look THAT bad. You all have to understand Apple is really pushing hard to get (iOS) iPad users to switch to OS X for their desktop needs as opposed to Windows switches. There are so many iOS features that are being built-in, I guess Apple figures they'll add the same visual cues in their applications to make it a simpler transition.
It's funny though, the OS itself is more monochrome this time around, but their applications are much more...."festive". :|

triple: 20-30 dollar cost difference, probably less in quantity. It is just coming from apple not wanting to put a high res screen on the laptop for some reason, probably their misguided attempt at hitting a specific dpi count until resolution independance.

They are forming a new site with SBNation that will launch this fall. You can tell who the real talent was, as Josh got the break on this story and Engadget did not.

It looks like the menu text default has dropped from 14pt Lucida Grande in Tiger to 13pt Lucida Grande in Leopard -- a welcome change.
