I read about new guidelines about not leaving USA before applying for reentry permit and biometrics are taken. Please see the note below:

Since on 2nd July they said they will reject the AOS application, what if they would have done some rejection during that time, and by the time July filers get their application back, it is after 17th of August. In that circumstance, can you send the AOS application back arguing USCIS's mistake and ask them to take it back after 08/17 and would they take it back politely or reject it again.

Search has a common syntax across the web, not just for Google. Perhaps you were sounding synonomous with Google.

Eventually something's got to give. Standoffs don't remain forever. Just like 1st world war
trench warfare was a standoff tactic but was eventually made redundant by invention of tanks.
Same way this standoff wont remain forever (of course many waiting EB2/3 I might lose patience ), either GOP will get into power and force the piecemeal through or Hispanic caucus might gain even more power to force CIR through.
Repeated failures might weaken the CIR coalition (Refer the Greg Siskind post about MALDEF chief few months back).
gop will not force piecemeal..... i heard that us chamber of commerce gives a lot of money to gop...... chamber of commerce wants cir..... they will oppose piecemeal if gop is in power.... maybe they already did oppose it the last time gop was in power......
repeated failures will not weaken cir coalition..... as it seems the coalition is getting stronger.....
my guess is after the election cycle is over..... they will do cir...... but there will be no piecemeal..... the sooner we understand this.... the better it will be for us.... & for those of us who wants to leave..... try taking the flight over the pacific becoz flights r not going out of europe for now....

Anyway, I've found the break apart doodad can be quite hit and miss. I had a picture of some trees for an X-Files stylee website design I was toying around with, and they came out awfully, while some pylons came out even better. Neither were anything too radical, just basically black and white images.

I am pretty excited as this was the best thing I could hope for at this point. I have entered the DV before and was never selected.
I wish I could afford a lawyer to assist, but that doesn't seem to be an option for me right now.
Anyone has any ideas and the turn around time once I have submitted the paperwork and when to hear back from them for an interview?
you should get a lawyer man. Friend of mine paid $3500 for a good lawyer to process the paperwork when he won the GC lottery, he got all the peace of mind in the world, and his GC soon thereafter.

I was in a similar situation and included 2 prepaid overnight envelopes (which btw, they have mentioned in their instructions). They probably tossed them in the bin and chose to send them by untrackable usps mail which took over a week to arrive. Very very aggravating! :mad:

Seems like AP takes a longer route to the mail box in USCIS... Mine is at NSC and my experience is that everything out of there is slower...
Anyways I am greatful that they approved it and its in mail ( fingers crossed )
My AP was approved Sep 9th, and EAD on Sep 12th, got EAD yesterday(16th), no AP yet, hope they send it to me this week, I dont want to pay again and refile

As a result, it has been necessary to hold most of the Employment cut-off dates for November. At this time, it is not possible to provide any estimates regarding future cut-off date movements.

What is the process of suggesting amendments to bills under consideration to lawmakers, e.g. the amendments to PACE suggested in my previous post- can I call/e-mail/fax all sponsors/lawmakers or can I only contact specific lawmakers (those of my area)? Any suggestions will be welcome!

-- When a person is having vaild H-1B or H4 visa
-- When a person is already having AP and is returning within the validity existing AP.

Well if it is clearly mentioned in the offer letter that Employer will cover the GC cost, then isnt the employer supposed to pay for it irrespective of when the labor was filed. It was filed in 2006.
Btw, i am on AOS if that is what was meant from my legal status..

The employer can change the contents of the offer, as long as it does not affect the job functions. GC is just a by-product of the job offer. Since you no longer work for the employer, you do not have any basis for recouping the costs. If you are in AOS status, it requires that there by an underlying immigrant petition by an employer. In your case, the employer on your petition no longer employs you, and therefore, if you go by the book, you are not in legal status. Rather than try to get money from your old employer, I'd suggest that you look for an employer who will take over your GC process. If you keep pestering your prior employer, they can revoke your I-140, which then invalidates your EAD and your I-485 application. So tread with care.

We recd. our 485 approval last week and recd. the cards in the mail earlier this week. We were interviewed at the local USCIS for our 485's, 2 weeks ago. It went really smooth and case was approved the same day as the interview.
I would like to whole-heartedly thank IV core and all IV members. This site has been an amazing resource of information & support for us thru our journey.
