Waiting from 9am to 5pm for a burly guy with his butt crack showing up is a joke indeed.
I see you've met our local plumbers before. :p
Now the plumber's mate OTOH.

What are everybody's plans for picking up an iPad 2 in Peterborough? I did consider heading down to Cambridge but the extortionate parking prices have put me off. Whats the best place to go?

http://att.macrumors.com/contest/7167A1.mov I do not have a **** for this ad. I am not very proud of it. On the MacBook Pro part the little review quote thingy is not very goodly selected ( excuse my sucky typing ) and it is not very apple like. But Take a look anyway!!!I have a higher quality one if anybody asks for it!

think what you want ... this is not going to court for a prosecutor ... this is an illegal eBay listing and will be resolved by eBay and PayPal ... can you stand that?
YES! EXACTLY! If you have read this entire thread than you know that I only posted to respond to someone that said he should be going to jail. Read my post above...I have no problem with the seller being adjudicated by eBay!!

The G4 will be slow but if its sitting idle it still will get the job done. As for the iBook thats what i use to to fold and it does get a bit warm but is okay as long as the processor is set to automatic in the energy preferences.

I am a technology geek and have worked in the IT industry for over 20 years but I just don't 'get' Twitter ?
Afraid I'm missing something - can anyone enlighten me as to why Twitter is such a great thing ?:o
Think of twitter as something between online chat and forums. With the addition of twitter search and hash tags instant forums around a topic can be created.
Look at the trending twitter topics which generally follow the important things going on in the world at the moment.
A number of times I've been following an event or new TV programme I can instantly go on twitter and join in on a discussion about it.
Also the celebrity side of things is interesting, celebs can sign up and post info to their fans, but have complete control over who's messages they want to see.

Looks like the developer put a lot of thought into the touch controls, rather than just slap on a standard touch d-pad design for each game. Good job!

I know you can just go converttoguide.php?=(postnumber) and it will convert that post to a guide but is there an easier way than pasting the post number on the end of it?
You're looking for something easier than something that is, already, dead simple?
Oh man your guides are going to be awesome.

Hello,
I got this error last night and I'm still scratching my head about it.
Build Ukulele of project Ukulele with configuration Debug
Ld build/Ukulele.build/Debug-iphoneos/Ukulele.build/Objects-normal/armv6/Ukulele normal armv6

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Command /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 failed with exit code 1
The project runs fine on both iPad and iPhone builds in the simulator and the iPad build works on the device. When I run the iPhone build on the device I get the error. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Guys and Girls,
Just thought I'd mention that the highly respected PC website "Tom's Hardware Guide" has just posted an absolutely GLOWING review of the Mac Mini on its website today...

I hope this means that MobileMe will become a free service, and "Castle" will be an upgrade from that. I just can't see myself paying for an upgrade on top of the (barely justifiable) charge for the current MobileMe.

I have always been curious as to how automator works, but have never really had a need to use it until now. What I would like to accomplish is to setup a workflow where as soon as a file gets put into a folder (music, photos, movies, etc) the automator would then automatically connect to my WDTV Live Hub and send the files.
Is this possible and if so, would anyone be willing to offer some assistance?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hopefully it will be priced reasonably.
