According to OH Law's website:
11/02/2007: H.R. 3043 Conference Update - Both Immigration Bills Killed!
One good news and one bad news. According to the AILA, the Conference committee took out both immigration riders from the H.R. 3043. It means that there will be no increase of the H-1B to $5,830. At the same time, there will be no recapture of EB-3 visa numbers for the Schedule A workers through this legislation.

For folks who are past the 180 day period:-
what does one have verify with HR of the new company specifically with regard to AC 21 portability? :confused:
Most recruiters / HR folks know nothing about AC21 etc. (Most when they hear green card, say per company policy, they will start haver 1 yr!).
Should one ever bother about confusing the new employer about AC21? (Assume that Job titiles and descriptions are practically the same. Nothing drastically different. And taking the new job on H1b transfer. i.e. not on EAD).
(PS: I am not taking from the context of desi consulting firms where it might be easier to get any letter with exact same job description etc.).

That is just plain impressive. I really didn't expect much improvement on this one. I just liked the way the sky changed colors at the rainbow. You can really see that now.

Gary, I think I did something similar. I couldn't tell if you masked it or not. In PS, I first selected all the sky with the magic wand, then expanded that selection 3 pixels, then put a 3 pixel feather on it, then inverted the selection so all the greenery was selected with a soft edge. I then put an adjustment layer bumping up the saturation. Finally, I filled the above selection with black on the adjustment layer's mask so the bump only applied to the sky. From there, it's a matter of taste for how much saturation is desired.

I had a similar issue for my son (I attached the check and it appeared that they lost the check) and it can be re-submitted again as long as the receipt date stamped on the rejected application is before retrogression which must be the case for you. But you need to wait for the rejected App.

That is just very Basic stuff from my training courses and seminars. I don't have any of my own work I have done recently because most of that was done at my friends house before I got my own place, and I have no way of acquiring that work, but I will make some more stuff tonight.

It seems I spoke too soon about having that bold problem tucked away. It does work like I mentioned. However if upon opening the window i first click the bold button then click in the textbox, the bold button will return to its unClicked state. It is only if i first click the bold button and begin typing without clicking in the textbox before typing that it retains its isChecked state and the text is bold.
(This is how it is working after adding the MainRichTextBox.Focus to the cs file.)

I haven't received it yet. I was looking for anyone who had a similar situation. Why would they require more evidence for a 3 year old boy??? They approved the rest of my family yesterday and sent cards for production notice but my 3 year old got an RFE.

Sorry I didnt make it clear about changing status to visitors visa. I am aware that it will not be an automatic switch.
I am wondering how difficult it is to switch to visitors visa status or to extend H1b for few months? Do people have high success rate or is it full of hassle (trying to extend stay on visitor/H1 status)?
ABIM board is an exam we take after finishing residency. I would prefer to finish it now immediately after residency.
I will try to meet up with an attorney in near future and discuss these issues, will be glad to share any new important info.

Just noticed that my lawyer has attached marriage certificate of my co-worker in the dependendent's petition. I am waiting for the receipt.
What are the impacts of this mistake? To compound the issue, my wife is flying out next week for a month to India.

I think was just in anxiety !!!. My wife recieved FP notice around 5 days after I recieved. We both have appointment on same day and same time.
So bottom line even though it is frustrating , I think the best solution is to just wait :)

i also find it disturbing that USCIS is trying to define its own definition of employer-employee relationship. As long as a company pays a person, that person is employee. They have no right to demand that there needs to be immediate supervisor from same company onsite or that company needs to provide the itinerary for employee.
I know job market is bad, but hunting down H1b's is not going to make it better.

It is not easy to ask anything we like. Recapturing visa need bill in both house and senate. IV is working hard on many action items. Please start taking part in all action items asap.

As part of Class action lawsuit can we ask for recapturing of all unused visa numbers? I believe the number is at least 300K, it covers the green cards for 2003, 2004 and 2005. 2006 can go with 2008 quota. So everyone will be happy.
I believe this is the provision we should fight for instead of CIRcus.
