    What is the logic to deny 485(EB3) if 140(EB2) gets denied?

    just got my Labor approved a couple week ago and now i want to file I-140 premium processing. But my lawyer's not allow me to do that coz once my I-140 approve i can't file my 8 th year extension. My 7th years H1B will expire on Aug 30, 2007.

    I'm very confused now, on my understanding once i get my I-140 approve, i'm eligible to get my H1B 3 years extension.

    FYI: i chose CP opotion, is that make me not eligible to get my H1B extension once my I-140 approve?

    Please help and Big thanks

    Did you get your extension? Please let me know, after how many days u got u'r extention.....am also in same situation .My H1-B extension was filed on sept 1st,requesting for additional 3 years (after the 1st 6 yrs) to VSC on regular basis. My labor and I-140 were also approved. The case has been pending since then.

    Hello,
    I was wondering if anyone (preferably a teen, im 15) would like to make a web design site for a part time job (after school or w/e) Im great with flash and ok with photoshop, fireworks, and dreamweaver. Also i would like some1 who is laid back and likes to have fun while working. I wont be paying anybody anything but we will split the earnings of what we do. You dont have to be the best at any progs , this can be a learning experience and a development of a portfoilio for future jobs(must be good/ok at one web design program) Sorry if thats confsing, im not the best writer but if you are interested email me at chaos@flash-matic.com or reply to this

    I spoke with A CSR at NSC and she said she could n't confirm if the address has been updated or not since it is private information and she doesn't have access to it.

    I asked her about my EAD card.
    She took my reciept# ,checked the status and asked me to give the new address and said she sent request for the card to be resent.
    Is this how they do it ?

    So do I need to talk to IIO to see of my address is updated or not?

    Folks,

    Can any of you share the experience of travel to india with AP with a valid H1b (Not stamped in passport), Especially if you are doing transit through european countries? i have heard of issues of UK not treating AP as a form of valid visa? is there any restrictions on transit through any other country?

    I am told that is better to apply for COS after like a semester or two of study on H-4...

    Looks like chaning to F-1 is better since OPT gives a great benefit to finidng a job esp in current conditions where no-one is going to file for an H1b right of the bat...
    Also once on F-1, she is not dependent on the H1B status of the primary.

    I am July 2 filer and have EAD card for myself and mywife. We are planning to go to INDIA for 30 days. I have H1B extended until 2010 but H1B STAMP is expired in passport. I have following questions:

    1. Should I apply for AP for both of us?
    2. If we have AP documents for both of us, Do we need to have NEW H1B STAMP in passport?
    3. When you aboard in flight from INDIA, do they question for expired H1B VISA stamp in the passport? What document we need to show them at that time?

    Your help is greatly appericated.

    I cam through Fankfort in last dec using AP. No worries.
    Anyone travelled recently through Germany (Frankfurt) using Advance Parole? Any issues with Advance Parole while coming back to US? Do we need transit visa? Appreciate your response.

    from my understanding it wil start right away.. which means we will loose some time overlapping between the EAD's.
