My application produces a timer value when I shake the iphone. I need to perform 8 shakes and after each shake, i need to save that particular result into a file and later retrieve these values from the file to convert them into binary format. Can someone tell me if this can be done? If so, how?

Why? The law requires an rights owner to defend its IP or risk losing it. These suits are just business, no hard feelings, as seen by Apple's monster-sized component contract w/ Samsung. Any yes, business is about making money.
Every time there's a patent or copyright article and people go off the deep end calling these companies crazy/evil, etc, I wish the article would indicate the fact that they are actually required to do so or risk losing their patent/trademarks. Doesn't even matter if they want to or not.

I tend to agree. Cut programs until our expenses match our current 'revenues.' When the two are equal or are in the black, let's immediately pass an balanged-budget amendment so this problem never happens again. And, raise taxes so our spending is less than our revenues and we can start paying off the debts Reagan, Bush and Bush left our grandchildren. It's time to start acting like grown-ups.
For the record, they are paying their fair share. The top 50% of wage earners pay over 95% of the income tax. Your disgusting attack on all conservatives wanting to '****' over all citizens is just that... disgusting. They don't pay 95% of all taxes. In addition, if you look at their income, they have tons of it that is not taxed (So, shouldn't they be paying even more? I don't have much income that isn't taxed, why should they?) They also have and control the vast, vast majority of the wealth in this country that is not taxed until sold for a gain (whether you realize it or not, there's some big concepts in that one sentence). Finally, all the other taxes are regressive or at best flat, which means the poor and middle classes are paying more than their fair share of those taxes. You don't seem to care about that, you're more interested in protecting 100-200 of the wealthiest of the wealthy.

Certainly you understand that decreased taxation on the wealthy and corporations certainly hasn't helped, and in fact hurt. You see that, right? Easiest solution would be for Google to port their current maps and navigation software to iOS. Not that Apple would allow it, and not that Google would want to do it :). I love competition...

This is the third time I've noticed this. I charged my iPad last night and this morning it was 100% I did not use the iPad all day, save to check the %, right now, without using it ( it's 830 pm), it's at 59%? what's going on? We have an iPad and that one takes forever to run down...I have not used this one all day!

You see? This is the problem when there's no competition. Pretty soon we'll have three main carriers (ATT, Verizon and Sprint). One of them decides to increase prices, then the other will follow suit. I'll go with an iPod touch and a paid phone once my contract is up. Screw them all!

We all know Android is unstoppable with the 350k phones it sells a day. Some lame firm bribed by Apple have now decided to include none phone devices to try and blind the public. It wont work we all know Android is conquering the smart phone business.
I'm sure this data will be coming to a Keynote near you.

Just got a new 6th gen Nano. About 20 seconds into anything being played, it shuts down.. apparently going to sleep. The alarm clock is not on. Nothing in the fitness area is turned on. I've reset it to factory defaults. Any info or ideas concerning why it keeps going to sleep? Thanks!!

Philalbe, based on what you've said, he sounds like someone you really don't want to be doing business with. In the end, the pay would have to be a lot better than that for it to be worth all the stress.
If I can offer you just a little bit of advice, having run my own business for quite a number of years, it would be this� Firstly, you're charging WAY too little. I did too when I started out. That's why this guy back-pedalled IMO, not because he's a nice guy, but because he realises that no one else will do the quality of work you're doing at this price. I could be wrong, but he sounds like some people I've seen before. He knows you're a bit green in business, and he'll take advantage of it to save every penny he can, hence the line that 3 hours is all he can afford. You have to be confident in your service and your prices and set them accordingly. If he values the service you offer, he will pay the price. If not, he'll go in search of the next person gullible enough to pay what he's offering, and he will. This kind of person places no value in establishing long-term business relationships and he offers very little value to you and your business.
I know you're only starting out and you're keen to get any work you can, but in the long term it's going to bite you because a lot of the customers you're establishing now at this price are going to start taking it for granted. I don't know what the going rates are in your area, but you need to find out. I'll bet you people are charging upwards of 4 or 5 times that amount.

Hi my name is Pat. I go t college and I use this ihome model IP9BR for my ipod touch about 90% of the time it wakes me up when I need to get to practice and the other 10% it just doesnt wake me up. :mad: I have it set on the Ihome playlist and it is really making me mad when it doesnt wake me up. Is this normal?

I've been getting "Call Failed" on about 25% of my phone call attempts since 4.3.1. It's really, really annoying.
I know several people that have upgraded and suddenly have lots of dropped calls and failed call attempts.
